Getting Started
Installing the Program
1. Insert the Cheerios(R) Play Time CD into the CD-ROM drive. If AutoPlay is enabled a screen will automatically appear. Follow the simple on-screen instructions for installation. If AutoPlay is NOT enabled, go to Step 2.
2. Click the START button, then select RUN from the Start Menu.
3. On the RUN line, type D:\setup.exe. (If your CD drive is not D, type the correct letter in its place.)
4. Click OK and follow the prompts.
5. Cheerios(R) Play Time requires DirectX 8.0. The program will look for DirectX 8.0 on your computer. If not found the program automatically installs DirectX 8.0 from the CD-ROM. If you do not install Direct X 8.0 you will be unable to play Cheerios (R) Play Time. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Known Issues
1. Graphics problems have been reported with this game (and many other popular games) when using the ATI Rage Pro or the ATI Mach 64 graphics card. You may see flickering in the graphics, boxes around moveable graphic items and animations may not play properly. In some areas this is more extreme than in others.
2. There have been problems reported with the ATI Rage 128. The Cheerios(R) Play Time desktop icon may not appear or may appear corrupted though the game itself remains basically playable.
3. Computers with the Crystal 4281 Audio card may experience choppiness in the playback of the audio within the product, particularly with voices.
At this point, there is nothing we can do to alleviate these problems. Each of the listed hardware items are several years old and are commonly associated with performance problems of the types listed above. Check with the manufacturer of the card to see if updated drivers are available.
4. Users with Windows XP installed on their PC may experience problems playing Cheerios(R) Play Time. If you experience problems, you can download a 'patch' which will alleviate these problems from the Simon & Schuster Interactive web site at www.ssinteractive.com
