OPTIMAL PLAYING CONDITIONS
Cluedo Chronicles is best played with the lights low, on a scary night,
and all alone! To further enter the mysterious world, play with the
"Sub-titles" feature turned off in the "Preferences" area. This will
keep your mind focused on sleuthing.

VIDEO CARD CAPABILITY
Cluedo Chronicles must be played on a video card capable of
640x480 screen resolution at a bit depth setting of
16 bits. The card and software drivers must be DirectX
6.1 compatible. If you experience problems or difficulty
with graphics, contact your card manufacturer for the
latest documentation and drivers.

FRAME SKIPPING
On lower-end machines, you may notice slight skipping of frames.
This is a performance-enhancing feature that automatically enables
itself to keep the video and audio matched better.

"CINEMATICS" FEATURE
The user guide refers to a feature that allows for the repeat viewing of
videos in the game. This feature was disabled prior to release.

DISPLAY SETTINGS
To change your display settings, from the desktop,
click the Start button/ select settings / select
Control Panel / select Display / select the Settings
tab. Adjust the colour palette drop down box to make
changes to the bit depth. Adjust the desktop area
slider bar to make changes to the desktop area.

DISK CAPACITY
Installing Cluedo Chronicles requires a minimum hard drive
space of 80MB. There is no selection of file space, just the fixed size.
You may save your game progression. The save game files are relatively
small (4-25k)

CURSORS
We have additional cursor types not mentioned to aid you in manipulating
the Cluedo Chronicles environment. There are 3 new hand-shaped cursors:

* A hand with a pointed finger - Signals a hotspot to be effected by
clicking

* An open hand - Signals a hot spot to be grabbed. Click and keep
the mouse button down

* A closed hand - Signals a "grabbed" hotspot, keep your button down
and move your mouse.

* An enhanced 180° turn cursor - Allows you to turn left or right in
a room, and is usually activated by placing your cursor towards the
bottom left or right area of the viewing screen.

PUZZLES
At times you will be presented with an up-close puzzle to solve. To
exit the puzzle, move your cursor around the edges of the screen till
an "up-arrow" cursor appears, then click.

If you find you need a little help with the puzzles, while presented
with one, bring up the lower inventory bar, and click on the
"Cluedo" logo. You will have 3 levels of hints to get you through them.
