IMPROVING PERFORMANCE

Dynamic Lighting
Walk-Cycles
Walls
2. Free up additional Hard Drive space.
3. Select the Maximum install size during the set-up process.
ADDITIONAL GAME FEATURES
________________________
1. Status Lights - These have been added during multiplayer games for you to
monitor connection status of you and the other on-line players. They are
located above the bottom character bar.
Green: Good Connection
Yellow: Moderate Connection
Red: Slow connection, or still loading
2. Multiplayer - If a remote player drops connection during a multiplayer
game, a computer player will take over. If the host drops, the game will
end for all players.
3. Clickable Items - You are able to explore the individual rooms of the
mansion and find animated hot spots. These will not affect the game play
directly; however, can be a great break from sleuthing. e.g. Click on the
bear in the Billiard Room, and you may see him dance, or you could get
mauled!
GAME PLAY TIPS
______________
1. Family Style/Hot-Seat
Hide your info -
If two or more people are playing at the same computer, they will
need to conceal their cards and notepad from other players. Make sure
each player announces to other players to look away while viewing
notes and cards, and disproving suggestions.
2. Multi-player Setup -
Only the host can re-assign a remote player to a new character. If you are
a remote player and you want your character reassigned, send a chat
message to the host requesting your change.
The host accomplishes this by doing the following at the player set-up:
a. click on the "assigned" full-body character
b. at the "... is played by" screen click on the new character the remote
player wants to be.
Preferences -
The Host controls the status of Suggestion Videos and the Walk-animations.
The host can turn these 2 features off or on before a game or during a
game. The remote players will be effected by these settings.
3. No Die Roll
Playing Better -
a. Avoid entering a room with less than three credits, you will not have enough credits to make a suggestion.
b. Towards the end of the game, be careful not make your final suggestion without at least having three more credits for your accusation; because if you do, you might give away the answer to the next player.
