Performance Tips
It is recommended that you have at least 200 MB free on the drive where your
copy of Windows is installed. Windows uses a "swap file" on your hard drive to
temporarily transfer data that does not fit into RAM. You can check the space on
your drive (or drive partition) by opening up My Computer and right clicking on
the drive icon (usually the C drive) and selecting Properties.
To get optimal performance, it is recommended that you do not run any other
programs in the background.
It is recommended that you defragment your hard drive on a monthly basis to
optimize performance of your disk drive. You can find the Windows defragment
software under the Start Menu at C:\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disk
Defragmenter.
