1. Before installing Dreams :
=============================
Dreams to Reality contains three versions : Windows95, 3DFX, DOS.
Please note each version has its own install program : to play the Windows
version use the Windows install, for the Dos version use the Dos install etc.
2. Starting the game under Windows 95 :
====================================
Insert CD-ROM no. 1 of DREAMS. The installation program is automatically
initiated. Select a minimum/maximum installation. The files necessary to run
the game are copied and a log-on page is used to initiate the game.
Microsoft DirectX5 is necessary to run the game. If it is not installed on
the computer, do so by using the log-on page. If an older version of Direct X
was installed, the installation of DirectX5 will update the older version.
3. Starting the game under DOS :
================================
Insert CD-ROM no. 1 of DREAMS. Then type the letter corresponding to the
CD-ROM drive (most often D: ). Type INSTALL, press ENTER and the installation
program will begin running. An initial question will be asked regarding the
target disk on which the installation program must copy the files necessary
to run DREAMS. Most often this is C :.
Once validated, the installation program will copy the files on the hard disk.
This may last a few minutes. The audio installation program, as well as video
card recognition are automatically initiated at the end of this step.
A new question is asked regarding the disk space dedicated to DREAMS.
If you choose to play the Dos version, we recommend you play under 'real' Dos (not in a MS-DOS session under Windows).
4. Starting the game under 3DFX :
=================================
Insert CD-ROM no. 1 of DREAMS. Then type the letter corresponding to the
CD-ROM drive (most often D: ). Type INSTALFX, press ENTER and the installation
program will begin running. An initial question will be asked regarding the
target disk on which the installation program must copy the files necessary
to run DREAMS. Most often this is C :.
Once validated, the installation program will copy the files on the hard disk.
This may last a few minutes. The audio installation program, as well as video
card recognition are automatically initiated at the end of this step.
A new question is asked regarding the disk space dedicated to DREAMS.
5. Minimum/Maximum version selection :
===================================
The minimum version reads everything on this CD-ROM any is the best choice
for those who have little free space on their hard disk.
The maximum version installs part of the game on the hard disk improving disk
access during the game. The maximum version also offers video-maps in the game.

7. Hints and Tips :
===================
+ Explore all places thoroughly. Many spells, bonuses and secret passages
are hidden in them.
+ When you jump, trust the shadow you throw. It allows you to get a better
idea of the landing point.
+ Avoid any aggressive actions towards characters who do not attack you:
you will waste your life energy, you may also lose information and even
get tangled up in riddles.
+ Goind through the small flying blue bubbles gives you a lot of manna.
Watch your manna level frequently.
+ Use magic. The sword and the bow may become your standard weapons if you
are careful with your consumption of manna.
+ Your magical energy is your most precious possession, avoid wasting it.
+ Use your magical weapons intelligently. Some are better suited to close
combat, others to remote combat.
+ Always check your magic gauge in flight. Some places require more magic
than others.
+ Read the dialogues properly. They contain important information for
solving the riddles.
