I. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles: An Adventure in Terror.
Legend Entertainment developed this title over the past year and a half in close
collaboration with John Saul. Their goal: To craft a frightening and emotionally-
gripping story filled with all the mental challenges that make an adventure
game great. We hope you enjoy the experience they've created...
II. Troubleshooting Problems
-If you experience any video problems while running John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles
like graphical glitches, sluggish movie playback,or a blank "pink" screen, your current
Windows 95 video drivers may be outdated and probably aren't DirectX 6 compliant and will
need to be updated. Please refer to the manufacturer of your video card for driver update
information. Specifically, if you have a DiamondCard, based on the S3VIRGE Chipset,
(i.e. Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 or 3D 3000) you must have the latest drivers to function
properly. You may also need to get the latest version of your sound, mouse, or cd-rom driver.
-Some Non-Pentium, Cyrix machines cannot run Blackstone Chronicles. Those with onboard VGA
(Xpress GRAPHICS) and onboard Soundblaster clones (XpressAUDIO) exhibit problems in
conjunction with Blackstone and the Cyrix Media GX Processor. Contact Cyrix or the
computer's manufacturer for the latest drivers.
-When a "Command Box" in the game is open, DO NOT access the top menu bar (which is invisible,
but not disabled.) Loading a previous save will cause the game to hang.

-Page 2: ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION, left-click on REGISTER NOW (not Register for Free Stuff).
There are no freebies for registering.
