## How to Install Your CD-ROM

### Setup Guide
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the drive.  
2. Click **Setup** in the window that appears and follow the instructions.  

If no window appears, follow one of the procedures below:

**Option 1:**
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the drive.  
2. Double click on **My Computer**.  
3. Double click on the CD-ROM drive (usually D:).  
4. Double click **Install.exe** and follow the instructions.  

**Option 2:**
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the drive.  
2. In the Windows toolbar, click **Start → Run**.  
3. Type `D:\install.exe` (replace D with your CD-ROM letter if different).  
4. Click **OK** and follow the instructions.

### Run Guide
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the drive.  
2. Click **Start** in the window that appears.  

If no window appears:  
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the drive.  
2. Click **Start → Programs**.  
3. Select the **emme** group and click the icon for *Mr. Men and Little Miss*.

## Minimum Requirements
- Pentium 233 MHz (recommended: Pentium II 350 MHz)  
- Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, or XP  
- 16 MB RAM (32 MB recommended)  
- 50 MB hard disk space  
- 16-bit SVGA monitor, 800×600 resolution  
- Sound Blaster–compatible sound card  
- 4x CD-ROM drive

## Installation Troubleshooting

### The program does not install correctly
- Ensure the CD-ROM is inserted correctly, printed side up.  
- Close all running programs (word processors, screensavers, etc.) before installing.  
- Avoid installing in an overcrowded program group.  

### The program does not run
- Check CD-ROM is inserted correctly.  
- If installation failed, uninstall and reinstall.  
- Clean the CD-ROM disc with a soft cloth.  

### Printing Images
If printing results in a blank page:  
1. Go to **Start → Settings → Printers**.  
2. Right-click your printer → **Properties**.  
3. Set resolution to **300 DPI**.  
4. If images are too large, set paper format to **Landscape**.  

### No Sound in Videos
Some programs require QuickTime 4. If audio issues occur:  
1. Open **Start → Settings → Control Panel**.  
2. Open **QuickTime**.  
3. In *Sound Output*, select **waveOut**.  

### Computer Crash / Frozen Screen
- Check your system meets the minimum requirements.  
- Close other running programs (antivirus, fax, scanner, etc.).  
- Update your graphics card driver.  
- Ensure display mode is set to **Window / Original Size**, not *Full Screen*.  
- Use Windows’ memory manager only (EMM386).  

**General Tip:** To restart Windows without shutting down, press **Ctrl + Alt + Del** twice.  
⚠️ Unsaved data will be lost.

## Helpful Hints
- Handle CD-ROMs with care; avoid scratches and dust.  
- Always check the included *Help* or *Read Me* files.  
- Avoid clicking multiple times—wait for programs to load.  
- Ensure the program group has enough space for new icons.  
- Use **Ctrl + Esc** to view running programs.  
- Never power off directly while in a multimedia program.  
- Wait for the CD-ROM drive light to stop blinking before starting.

## Uninstall Your Game
To remove the game:  
1. Click **Start → Settings → Control Panel**.  
2. Double click **Add/Remove Programs**.  
3. Select the game and click **Uninstall**.
