1.2 Installation Notes
If you choose not to install Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow to the default location (c:\Program files\Seven Studios\ Pirates of the Caribbean - LoJS), you must install Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow into a valid folder.
1.3 Multi-Tasking (Alt-Tab)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow does allow multitasking, however running other programs in the background and switching between Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow and another program can make the game unstable and produce undesirable effects, such as visual artifacts or crashes when the game is restored. For best results, please make sure all open programs are closed before starting Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow -- this includes any programs running in the System Tray.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow was not developed for or tested on Windows NT 4.0.

2. Video Configuration
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow sets its resolution based on your computer's current desktop resolution. If you experience difficulty running the game or experience undesirable performance please reduce the settings for your video card.

Uninstalling Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow.
To uninstall Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow under Windows XP Home or Professional, select START\SETTINGS\CONTROL PANEL\ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS\ from the Windows taskbar and select Change or Remove Programs. Select "Pirates of the Caribbean" from the currently installed programs list and then select Change/Remove to uninstall the product.
Uninstallation can also be done by inserting the game disc with autorun notification turned on. This will initialize the game's setup program. Follow the onscreen prompts to remove the game.
Additionally you can browse to your DVD-ROM drive via Windows explorer and select X:\SETUP.exe from the root of the game disc directory. ("X" is the letter or your DVD-ROM drive)
