Known Bugs and Work-arounds
---------------------------
1. Flicker of Toolbar in Software --- Fix unknown right
now, check our webpage often! In the Settings screen
you can try selecting Profile 1 as a solution.

2. FLicker of Scope/Binocular view? -- This is related to
some texture management on accelerator cards. Go to the
Setting screen, and choose Display. You will see that the
option 'Fast Scopes' is checked. Uncheck this option and it
should fix the flicker. But, you will see a slight
performance hit.

3. Problems with Multiplayer? --- There is an update to
DirectX on your Install CD! Insert your Rocky Mountain
Trophy Hunter 3 CD into the drive and go to the /directx
directory. From this directory run the file 'DX7Aeng.exe'

4. Flickering overlays (decals - animal tracks) on certain
accelerator cards. This is a driver issue, you should

Troubleshooting notes on Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3
-------------------------------------------------------
1. You must have a DirectX compatible Sound and
Video Card for Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 to
operate properly.

The latest version of DirectX is included on the
install CD for your convenience.

2. Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 is also a LARGE
game so we recommend a computer system with at least
32 MB of RAM. Of course, the more memory the better!

3. If you are experiencing display problem,
problems with the graphics palette, cursor problems
or other performance issues, we strongly recommend
that you run Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 in
FULL SCREEN mode.

This can be set from the Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3
'Settings' screen.

4. The following chipsets will work in Software renderering
mode ONLY. These cards are not 100% Direct3D compliant:

  Rage 128 Pro
  Matrox Mystique (MGA 1064SG-D)
  Matrox Millennium II (MGA 2164WP-C)
  Nvidia Riva 128

The following chipset is not supported in software or
hardware mode:
  S3 Savage 4

Other chipset specific issues:
With the Diamond Viper 770 Ultra, the game crashes to
desktop if minimum graphics options are used. There are
no issues if you use the maximum graphics options.

5. If Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 is running very
sluggish it could be because you don't have enough free
space on the hard drive. Try creating additional space
if you have less than 50 megabytes of free space on
your hard drive.

6. LAPTOPS - If you cannot run Rocky Mountain Trophy
Hunter 3 on your laptop computer, you should check to
insure that you are running the game in Windowed mode.
This can be set from the Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3
'Settings' screen.

8. If the game fails to run on your system it could
be because you don't have DirectX compatible drivers.
Run the DirectX diagnostic (Dxdiag.exe in your
 "C:\Program Files\DirectX\Setup" directory.) and make
sure you have certified drivers.
