If your display is set to greater than 256 colors, you may be
prompted to change to 256 colors. Running under any display mode
other than 256 colors will result in color problems, and will be
unsatisfactory.
This software was created using Macromedia's Director Player for
Windows, which has problems with some video display boards -
particularly those based on the S3 chipset. Some manufacturers who
use these chips in their display boards include Diamond, Number Nine,
Orchid, Hauppage, and Genoa Systems. Consult the documentation that
came with your video board if you are unsure of the chip being used.
If you do have a board based on the S3 chip, upgraded drivers should
be available to resolve the conflict. If you are using a driver
from before December 1993/January 1994, please contact your video
board manufacturer for an updated set of drivers.
