3. Problems with the game:

If you encounter problems with the game please do first check that your computer
complies with all the minimum requirements listed in the manual. Please make
sure that no other programs are running before starting STCC 2.

Problems with the video cards:

This game requires that your computer has a 3D card with DirectX 7.0 support for
displaying a resolution of at least 640x480 pixels in 65,535 colors (4 MB or more
video memory) and that your video card driver supports Direct3D.

First of all make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card, if
unsure please check with the supplier of your computer or video card for the
latest drivers.

Memory problems:

STCC 2 requires 64 MB of internal memory or more and that the Virtual memory handler
is ACTIVE. We recommend that you let Windows(r) 98 or Windows(r) 2000 handle your virtual memory
automatically (default setting) and that you have at least 30 MB of free hard disk
space at all times.

Sound problems:

STCC 2 requires a sound card with support for DirectSound. If your sound card does
not support DirectSound you may encounter jumping or distorted sound. We recommend
that you get the latest sound card drivers from the manufacturer or supplier of your sound
card.

Network problems:

STCC 2 requires an TCP/IP-compatible network and network adapter to allow play over a
network. If you are uncertain that your machine has these capabilities, please contact
your network administrator or the supplier of your network adapter.

Please make sure that all network applications such as E-mail programs etc., are
turned off before starting the game.

For better network play make sure that the computer acting as the game SERVER is
the most powerful. Network play is also affected by other network traffic.

How To Obtain The Information Required
Windows(r) 95/ Windows(r) 98 Users
1.	Right click on My Computer.
2.	Left click on Properties.
3.	The General information screen will detail how much RAM you have and the CPU make eg. Intel/Cyrix.

Please note: Windows(r)95/ Windows(r) 98 does not always detect the Cyrix chip correctly, and therefore may describe it as a 486.
4.	Now click on Device Manager.
5.	Click on the `+` symbol on the relevant devices i.e.

You will then be able to see the manufacturer of these devices.
1.	The CPU speed can be seen if you reset your PC and look towards the top left corner of the screen. You should see a CPU clock speed eg 166 MHz. This is the processor speed that you need.
2.	Double left click on "My Computer" then click square symbol to maximise screen.
3.	Left click on your hard drive (C:\) and this will list how much free disk space you have and the total amount of disk space you have on the system. Now close all windows down.
