The Godfather is a 2006 open world action-adventure video game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts. Originally released in March 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows, it was later released for the PlayStation Portable as The Godfather: Mob Wars, Xbox 360 as The Godfather: The Game, Wii as The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, and PlayStation 3 as The Godfather: The Don’s Edition.

How to play on Windows
- Download and Extract The_Godfather_Win_Setup_EN.7z
- Open “Game Files” and run “Setup.exe”. Finish installing the game (note this can take quite a while, took me around 1 hour for it to complete)
- Replace file from the “Crack” folder into the game installation directory.
- Important step: inside the the game’s installation directory, you will find a folder called “movies”. You want to right click that file, and change the name to “_movies” and confirm your changes. You can now launch the game using the desktop shortcut.

I did everything as per the steps you mentioned. There’s one pop-up that comes every time I try to open the game saying “The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_27.dll was not found” What to do with this?
you need to download a new directx driver it will fix the problem (ONLY DOWNLOAD FROM MICROSOFT!!)

A very cool game, but difficult and tedious to get it working. I’m certain it is more of a windows problem (do they get payed based on the amount of problems they create?!).
Download Dirext X from microsoft site its caused by a missing file in the driver.
i downloaded this game from this site and its working fine except mouse is off by 3cm. if i want to click on something i have click on 3cm right of that something
my xbox 360 controller doesnt work, any fix??
Works perfectly for Windows 10. Make sure to right click on the shortcut, go to properties and choose compatibility options. I used Windows XP SP2 compatibility, checked “Disable full screen optimizations” and “Run as administrator”.
