    Somehow it doenst work for me. It says that a spcific data couldnt be found. Game has to be closed. and then it shuts down. Any help?

    The problems with blank screen and missing sounds is due to this file having most of the multimedia ripped off. There is a torrent with hash 9798C7EDC169199165CDE755621417766A0A9DC8 that works fine.

    Cutscenes do not load and music cuts off after about 5 seconds… truly a shame as it was my favorite game when I was growing up…

    after a mission (or before a mission) the games sometimes goes black and i cant do anything. everything freezes. And no i dont have potato pc

    Hope there is a patch that will allow for music and cutscenes. This was my favorite game back when xbox original was a thing. I’m loving the experience but miss the music and cutscenes. The seamless connection between game and films is part of why we play.

    I can’t get the music to work properly (it plays for a second then stops at the beginning of a level) and the cutscenes just don’t show up! Can anybody here please help me (and the other three who posted in this section as well)?

      I have the original discs – which don’t run because they contain a disc copy protection for which Microsoft Windows discontinued support since a few years.

      When I run the ROTK.exe found here, the game starts immediately like you wrote. However, when I copy the ROTK.exe over the original installation, everything works as it should.

      Bottom-line: buy a cheap second hand copy or dig up your old discs from under a pile of dust if you want to play the game in its full glory.

    Hey, when I’m on the isengard quest it stops where te ents is going to destroy the dam. Is there any trick to fix it to go on?
