The Sims Castaway Stories is the third and final game in The Sims Stories. It was released on January 29, 2008, with a port for Mac OS X released by Aspyr on March 17, 2008.

Instructions for running on Windows 10
- Download the “The_Sims_Castaway_Stories.zip” file from the link above. Make sure you download the file properly and that your internet does not disconnect while downloading.
- Open the downloaded .zip file and extract the “The_Sims_Castaway_Stories_Windows” folder to your desktop. You will need to use a software such as WinRAR to do this.
- Open the extracted “The_Sims_Castaway_Stories_Windows” folder and then open the “Game Files” folder.
- Double click on the file called “AutoRun.exe” and the game setup should start. Go through the setup steps – at one point they will ask you to insert a CD-key. Use the following Serial Code: N78Q-RZKW-7428-DB09-DVTY
- When they prompt you to register, choose “Register Later”. When your installation completes, they will ask if you want to launch the game. Make sure that you do not launch the game and select “Quit” instead.
- Open the “Crack” folder inside the “Game Files” folder.
- Drag & drop (or copy) the “SimsCS.exe” file in there to the folder where you installed the game to. By default this would be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Castaway Stories\TSBin
- When prompted, choose “Replace existing file” or “Copy and replace”.
- You can now launch the game using the shortcut on your desktop.
- Enjoy the game!

You game get started in a window. At the moment I’m checking the ini files to change the mode.
i can’t get this to work either 🙁 i get as far as the opening trailer, and as soon as the game starts to actually load it crashes. After some digging a lot of Sims 2 games require a “4gb mod”, but i can’t find the file the sims 2 tutorials refer to in my Sims Castaway folder. switching compatibility mode inside properties doesn’t help me either, and i’ve tried some custom graphics in the graphics settings sgr but that seemed to make things worse. Any thoughts?
It was working so well, now it keeps crashing and terminating the program…im redownloading to see, if that helps…i hope, cuz im obsessed. But any idea why, it keeps crashing, after a week of working?

Weird! It did for me. You can try googling for other cd key codes.
don’t replace the file on the last step. Just drag and drop to create a shortcut link.
The short cut link looks for a cd?
Got it to work. That is one tiny gameplay window and no options to increase the size.
When asking for the cd key I type in the one they have in the instructions and it says its invalid. Pls help??

hello! I can’t find the icon on my desktop. After the installation, it only presented two options, Read file and quit. There wasn’t an option to launch game. (sorry for bad english)

I had same problem but after you have copied the SIMSCS.exe file over and replaced old one, if you double click on that then it will load the game 🙂

To make the game fullscreen, go to Settings > Graphics Options, then turn Windowed Mode off. Hope this helps!
How do I fix the game? I can barely see anything once I go to any lot. The screen just flashes a lot
If the game keep asking for the disk, try to run it through SimsCS file that you moved to the TSBin folder. Worked for me
doesn’t work for me. the game worked the first day when I downloaded it but the next day when I tried to play it says there is no disc
it keeps saying i need to use a disk??? how do i fix that?

It did not help. Windows 11. After that I tried to also rewrite defaultreswidth/height, but the window is still tiny
Go into the settings and take it off windowed mode. That will make it full screen.
My computer is against it. When I’m trying to do so, the game just quit to the desktop and I cannot enter it again
I downloaded the crack correctly but keeps telling me to insert disc?
I also just saw the top of this page says windows 8 and I have a windows 11. Is that why I keep having this error code: Could not create back-up files. Aborting….I did exactly what it said. I’m trying to install the sims castaway stories on my pc
