I can’t seem to get this to work. I downloaded the file, and then extracted it to my desktop. I don’t see a start.exe anywhere. I see a start application, and clicking on that seems to launch it. I followed the install instructions, and had it installed to the default program files. The code seemed to work fine. After it installed, it closed. I was not asked to register anything. In “The Sims Crack” file, again it is an application. I could not drag and drop, but instead copy and pasted it to the game files. That didn’t work, so I pasted it again to the main fold (contains the read me). In both cases, I never got a request to replace. It simply pasted.

When I open the start application, it opens the start menu. When I click play, I can choose three options, but none work. I click on them, and nothing happens. No error, no start. I tried running as administrator, and it is in compatibility XP service pack 2.

Again, I couldn’t find a setup.exe, but did find a setup application. When I try that, it asks me if I want to uninstall. I tried uninstalling. I then clicked the setup file again, and it asked to install, which I did. Still no start.

Works great. Played original Sims on Windows 98 so this is a breeze for me. Follow the instructions and you have no problems. Start.exe is in the “The_Sims_Complete_Collection_Win_Setup_ENGame Files” folder

I had problems at first with the endless loop of expansion pack info but I just right click on the icon that I put on the desktop and run compatibility like it says and run as administrator and it worked great. started building the first house.
