If you’re having problems opening “start.exe” go into the setup folder and click “Setup” worked for me, the same serial code works.

if you’re having issues, follow this here. most of the issues im reading about in the comments are just because people are messing up some steps/typing the code wrong.
    1. After you download the file, run the setup as usual. The code is EQMV-73XB-F8J4-GSLX-4M67, it does work.
    2. Since flash no longer is supported, the registration popup they mention shows up as a flash symbol. The registration is not important so you can just close out of the flash window. Then click “finish” on the installation wizard.
    3. Have the C:Program Files (x86)MaxisThe Sims folder and “The Sims Crack” folder open. DO NOT DRAG AND DROP the cracked file into the maxis sims folder, you will get the pop up “Windows cannot create a shortcut here”. Right click on the cracked file and click “copy”, then paste it into the maxis sims folder and click “replace”

    It should work normally

How can this be done now that flash is no longer active? Everything goes smooth until flash needs to be activate once the installation is complete

The Buffet Table isn’t in the buy menu after I installed this game in Windows 10. I tried reinstalling it multiple times as well as starting it multiple times with different compatibility settings and administrative privileges, but the Buffet Table is still not in the Buy Menu where it’s supposed to be. And it’s required for catering. Any Ideas, other than setting up a Virtual PC?

I didnt download this specific version, but from another site that I trust. It appears they both have the exact same install process however so I’ll ask here.

On my current Windows 10 pc, it wont progress or do anything when I try to run the autorun exe “the START program”. but I was able to install it and play it on my older PC just fine (It’s also a windows 10. so I dont understand)

I tried running it in compatibility mode, as admin, I even tried to manually install the directX packaged in the folder. it doesn’t appear to be working on my current machine.

    suggestions?

Wow, still works when I’m back here the second time around xDD

Anyone who wants to play windowed, stick “-w” on the Target section when you right click Sims.exe.

It keeps crashing for me. I changed its compatibility and it’s still crashing after like 10 mins of gameplay. Any tips?

I cannot even get the start.exe to open. What gives? Took 2 hours to download and nothing will even open – pretty disheartened. If anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated!
