    Hi! Has anyone else encountered this issue when running Sims 1? The game starts with a huge chunk of the game outside the monitor, and there’s no easy way of bringing it back to the screen. This goes for both resolutions, and the fastpatcher does not fix it (on the contrary it causes a fatal crash after launch).
    Running on Windows 11 Virtual machine for M1 Max. I am running both launcher and game in compatibility mode for XP SP 2 with administrator privileges.

    When I try to drop the Crack file to the sims folder a window pops up and says, “Windows cannot create a shortcut here. Would you like to create a shortcut to the desktop instead?” how do I override this?

    When I select Setup.exe or Start.exe a pop up window says, “An installation support file could not be installed. Catastrophic Failure.”

    What do I do?

    I had the game installed previously, but while downloading custom content I accidently deleted the Game Data folder and the game wouldn’t work. To remedy this I’m trying to re-installing the game but I keep running into this error. Please help I love this game and I’m super bummed

    Hello! I finally got the program to run correctly! Smooth sailing. However, it will not play music from build/buy mode nor from the stereos. Any idea why? Music plays at intro load screen and TV.

    hi, I had no problems downloading and installing although I was wondering if there is a way to make the graphics better! I am using windows 10

      You can go to settings, graphics settings, and turn everything to the highest, other than that, nothing else can be made better because the game can only look like that.

    Im having issues with downloading. I cant do the sims crack step as its saying it can’t locate the directory. :/ ive done all the steps up to that point :/ any advice on how to fix it?

    The Start.exe doesn’t do anything, I’m running as administrator but its not running anything after requesting permission to run

    i cant download the game because it wants me to type in a number thats found on the back of the game manual, how do i fix this?

      It’s literally in the instructions on this exact page. Type in that code that it gives you and there you go. If that doesn’t work, legit just search “The Sims 1 complete collection code” and try anything that pops up. It’s like the easiest thing in the world.

    I’m having an issue at setup where it says “Unknown error detected. aborting setup” I tried to change the Compatibility like the instructions said but it’s still not working
