I finally got it to work by removing whatever 4k kb application was in maxis folder which mine did NOT create a maxis folder to my D: drive in ProgramFiles(x86) it just threw what should have been a folder into ProgramFiles folder, I checked my C: drive so many times see if I mistakenly put it in there but I did not, after hour+ figured it did not create the folder but instead dumped it all just in my ProgramFiles. SO- anyways I took the Cracked version and just copy & pasted (dropped it) over into the ProgramFiles and deleted/removed the 4k application of the Sims. Boom- launched. YAY ME. I kept trying to replace it but it kept saying I needed to login as Admin & I am & I edited and changed everything, nothing worked UNTIL NOW.

OMG THANK YOU! This worked. If you haven’t figured this out already (which I’m sure you have, please run as administrator to stop the constant loading in game.

I have gotten the game all installed, when i go to the maxis folder then the sims. I dropped the
Sims.exe however it does not ask me to replace it it just adds it to the file. i removed the original… the game is not popping up.
