    Hi Everyone!

Thanks to MJ’s comment below, I now know how to make it work.

Once you install the sims, copy the cracked application located in the game files folder. Next, go to C:Program Files (x86)MaxisThe Sims and paste the cracked version in that folder. Click yes to replace the 4,000 kb file here. Finally, make a shortcut of The replaced sims application (should be 2,000 or so kb) and ALWAYS run as administrator. If you don’t, the game will constantly load the expansion packs (which is a pain). Again, all credit goes to MJ (thanks so much)!

Honestly.. I have no clue. I didn’t read the instructions of installation and just downloaded it and played it like I did with Zoo Tycoon. However, I can’t save at all and can’t seem to travel off the lot.

Adding to the dismay. “Setup.exe” doesn’t do diddlysquat. It just sits in Task Manager doing nothing but taking up resources. Nice try, though. G4TW’s The Sims Complete Collection doesn’t work either, so don’t feel bad. 🙂

Step 6 is incorrect, you don’t interact with setup.exe at all during this process. Create a shortcut from Sims.exe instead and run it from there. Works just fine

I’ve got this to work but it’s on an endless loop when I start it despite following the instructions to run in compatibility mode – is there anything else I can do? on windows 11 🙂

I’ve been following the instructions but each time I try to open Start.exe it shows an hourglass, and nothing happens. I have reunzipped the file about 5 times to see if i did something wrong. Wtf do I do?
