The Neighbourhood screen is still in an ungodly low resolution, but to my knowledge this is the best available with current hardware.

Go to
Game Files>Setup>Setup.exe
Double click the Setup.exe inside of the Setup folder
Do
NOT use the start.exe just inside of “Game Files”. It doesn’t work if you
have this issue, and only takes up space in your task manager…

Some days ago I decided I wanted to play it again. After downloading the zip file, and running “setup.exe”, the game opens as normal, the install shield wizard apears, but then a message also pop’s up and says “error while extracting support arquives: catastrophic failure”.
I think the problem is the preious install I did of the game, that was poorly uninstalled, but when I try to uninstall it trough the settings app and the control panel the same ” catastrophic failure” apeears.
If someone would come down from heaven above and help me, ;P I would apreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Running “setup.exe” just says “setup is having trouble shutting down the autoplay program” and doesn’t let me continue.
running “start.exe” doesn’t appear to do anything.
Obviosuly Running “Sims.exe” in the sims cracked folder just says “Could not find The Sims Directory” which makes sense because nothing installed it yet.
As of right now it doesn’t seem to work. Im gonna try restarting my computer and coming back.
