      Solved!! go to your download and open Setup in that folder you will find Setup again. dubble click and it may give a message to restart your pc. do that and click again. it wil show you the message to put in the code! hop it will work for you, i am on windows 11. also check out YouTuber Blake Game. this is where i found this solution! grtz from the Netherlands

    Followed this to the letter and each time (5times) it wouldnt work. Always fails at the same point. Never replaces the exe file but creates a random shortcut.. Can we get a working file to download or at the very least a walkthrough that better than this because it obviously doesnt work..

      I had the same problem. Apparently my computer doesn’t read me as admin while I am one regardless what I do. My solution was moving the file via folder’s option(?). Check the file(not open it, just check it), and in the folder options that appears at the top of folder chose “move to”(or I assume it is like this, I use different language) and then chose the folder that you want it to move. I am no professionalist tho, don’t ask me questions.

    Can anyone please help? I installed this for my friend on W11 but every time I click setup now it just asks if I want to uninstall the game, is there something I’m doing wrong? As far as I know I’ve followed the instructions and ran compatibility mode to finish but I can’t get the game to run, or am I trying to use the wrong file?

      You are trying to start the game with the wrong file. Setup is only for setup (installing or uninstalling). Place the crack in the directory where the game was installed (not the directory where you extracted all the files!) and then run the Sims.exe file.

    Hey guys i need some help. So I’ve got the game installed but it won’t launch! I’m not sure what’s going on. any advice? I’m really desperate as i haven’t played this game in so long and it’s the last one i need to complete my sims collection. All it tells me is it cannot find the sims data directory.

    Hey thanks so much for the downlod ! So far i could instal the game but
    he ask me do update “Magic” extensoin via a CD. i can’t do so because i
    dont have any CD player on my PC… ^^’ Any solution ?

    The serial code seems to have stopped working, but I have a legit copy of the game(just no disc drive) so if anyone needs a new code, mine is 4STT-BQQG-VBL3-YK44-LGDH (I’ve used it on multiple devices and it’s still valid, so it should work!)

    I downloaded the file, it will get me to the main menu but once I double click to run the game nothing happens. I have tried all of the trouble shooting methods and it still wont run. Any suggestions? I am at a loss.

    Whenever I drag and drop crack into game folder it only copies over a shortcut instead of the actual file, W10 is my downfall but does anyone know why?

      At least you have a game file, Archive.org doesn’t have all the nessecary files, and torrent doesn’t work because it just brings you to a blank page.

        Don’t need a DVD rom.
        Do as the instructions says.
        Go to installed files, delete the launcher, cut & paste the launcher from the crack files instead and it’ll launch
