    Hi, I have installed it succesfully and am currently running game as administrator, but nothing happens after I click play in 800×600, etc. Like nothing. nothing loads or what am I doing wrong! Pls help

    I am trying to play this on a Chromebook and am trying to launch it through the Crossover app. I got it downloaded but am not able to follow the steps beyond the serial number entry (which worked). When I try to launch it I get the error message “cannot locate the DVD-ROM” and it tells me to “Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart the application”. Any advice on what to do?

    Try to play the game and it closes saying ‘please login with administrative privileges and try again.’ I know this has something to do with DRM, but does anyone have a solution?

    I finished all process but get fatal error, it said the default graphics card doesn’t support thousands of colors. Can somebody help me?

    Hi there, I installed this game the other night and while it most worked, I chose to try to uninstall and re-install because there were a few strange bugs occurring (images not appearing, things not saving). The installation worked perfect the first time but now I’m having problems. When I extract and then run the start.exe file, it says an unknown error occurred and it aborts the installation. Anyone know why this would occur? I appreciate any help!

    This should clear up any confusion, I had the problem with the games menu opening but would refuse to play the actual game. It seems like most people were skipping the same step as I was. Step 5 is explained very well in this video as the instructions above were quite confusing. Now my game is up and running!!

      I had the exact same problem. Instead of using “Start.exe”, you need to open up the folder called “SETUP”. Then you run the application called “Setup” that is in that folder, then I was finally able to install. There is a video that has been posted in this comment section a few times. Other than installing the game the way I just told you about, follow the the steps in the video in this comment thread and you should be good to go.

    Ok so i got excited for nothing. I can get to the load screen, but when i click on 800 x 600, it does nothing. The game doesn’t load. Anyone else have this issue and was able to fix it?

    the start.exe does not work at all. i’ve tried in all possible compatibility modes but no, it doesn’t fucking open. the process starts, according to task manager, but nothing happens.

      Hey there, I had the exact same problem. Instead of using “Start.exe”, you need to open up the folder called “SETUP”. Then you run the application called “Setup” that is in that folder, then I was finally able to install. There is a video that has been posted in this comment section a few times. Other than installing the game the way I just told you about, follow the the steps in the video in this comment thread and you should be good to go.

        i tried that but got a message that said basically it could not b installed due to catastrophic failure. anyone know what that is about? i deleted the file and redownloaded it in case it didnt download right and got the same message.
