To install this game you need to mount the rzr-timr.bin file. It’s the games disk image. If you have Win 10 just double click it and it will mount. Open the T.I.R. disk image and right click on the Setup file and click on Properties. Then click on the Compatibility Tab. Set the compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Then click on Run As Administrator. Click on Apply and then OK. Double click on Setup and the installer will run. After the game is installed open the T.I.R. disk image and copy the crack in the Crack Folder and paste it in the folder you installed the game. Then right click on the crack you just pasted and set the compatibility to Win XP and Run As Administrator. The game will now start. The opening movie doesn’t play and you get a white screen, just hit enter a few times until you get the Main Menu. This is an excellent racing game.

No se puede instalar en Windows 10?
Solución: ir a la carpeta “*.*:isSetUp.exe” , dentro del disco obviamente y ejecutar el setup, aplicar el crack y listo.
No se puede montar la imagen .bin?
Solución: En lo personal uso WinCDEmu para estas imágenes, pero un montador de imágenes que soporte .bin esta más que perfecto.
Problema: “Debe instalarse DirectX 8.1b para ejecutar el juego”
Solución: ir a “Panel de control > Programas > Programas y características”, en el buscador de Windows 10 y darle en “🛡Activar o desactivar las características de Windows” (son las opciones que aparecen con letra azul en la izquierda) y buscar la opción de “Componentes Heredados”, si esta deseleccionada seleccionarla y también la carpeta de “DirectPlay” que hay dentro de esta. Guardar los cambios. (Nota: a veces esta opción aparece como “Legacy Components” en inglés)
Si no se resuelve, una vez hecho lo anterior, ir al .exe dentro de la carpeta del juego y en “Propiedades>Compatibilidad” y darle en la casilla de “Ejecutar en modo de compatibilidad para:”, y darle en la casilla de “Windows XP (Service Pack 3)” y aplicar cambios, en mi caso se soluciono al intentarlo dos veces.
También resulta que tenemos otro problema de que no se nos ven las cinemáticas..
todavía no lo solucione, la única solución que vi, fue un redist dentro de Age of Empires II, así que no me acuerdo.
