The ClueFinders—Joni, Santiago, Leslie, and Owen—accompany their eccentric but lovable professor to Egypt on an archaeological dig. They are on hand for the opening of an ancient pharaoh’s tomb. The professor is ecstatic—what a find! Unfortunately, a fellow archaeologist with sinister plans for the tomb contents spirits the professor and the relics away.ClueFinders need your help. Their only clue to the whereabouts of the missing professor is an ancient scroll of papyrus the villains missed. The ClueFinders need to find help reading the scroll’s ancient code and tracking down the kidnappers. Rescuing the professor and recovering the tomb’s relics will require sleuthing, patience, and clever problem-solving. The ClueFinders are waiting for you. Are you ready to join them?

I managed to install the game and open the launcher, but when I press the play button, the screen goes to black after 2 seconds (I do hear the music from the launcher, but am unable to see anything). Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

i have the same issue on all of them 🙁 What to do?
The first time it ran and i played it. i just tried to play it again and it said that I needed the cd for it…
Sorry did you try force reinstalling clue finders 4th grade.
under _setup.exe. it might be that it is using a new letter partition
like moving from D to Z. if you reinstall should solve this problem.
I was able to download it, but wasn’t able to set it up. It kept saying Error 434.
can you please give more details on this front.

i have been testing over 200 the learning company games for about 3 years. i have not seen that error.
some are not available here for one it is pearly software. or under shady legal issues based on copyright.
Microsoft keeps removing old code from Windows 3.1.
