Game Description

Frogger: The Great Quest is a platform game released in 2001 by Konami for the PlayStation 2. It was ported to Microsoft Windows the following year and was dedicated in memory of its fallen voice actor, Steve Sheppard-Brodie, who was the voice of Lumpy the Toad, Count Blah the Vampire, and The Magical General of Light and Industry. It is the first game in the series developed by Konami, and the first since Hasbro Interactive released Frogger 2: Swampy’s Revenge in 2000. It introduced a new look, being the first in the series to be set in a 3-D platform environment. It is also the first to feature Frogger as a biped wearing clothes. The game was also released for the Game Boy Advance with the title Frogger Advance: The Great Quest.

  1. I kept getting this error “wrong disc inserted” when I hooked it into a virtual machine after I installed the game, how do I fix that ??

    • You have to mount the disc image onto a virtual drive. This is one of those games that required the CD to be in the tray in order to use them.

  2. I am having issues when I jump. I finally got the game to work after learning how to set it up. Now I get into the game, walk around and follow the first few steps and every time without fault as soon as I jump for the 5th time the game crashes. Any Idea why?

  3. Hello I downloaded this and everything went well expect whenever I try to open the game it says “Failed to find sound chunk file index”. I checked my anti-virus and it didn’t delete any files. Please help.
