Here are some tips for playing
Peanuts – Where’ s the Blanket, Charlie Brown?
Do you need some help finding Linus’ blanket?
Ok, here you go:

Characters:
The choice is up to you: you can play the game with
Charlie Brown or Lucy. Depending on who you choose,
the game will be a bit different every time.

Snoopymeter
You can’t search for the blanket without Snoopy! But: such
an extraordinary beagle needs extra care. The Snoopymeter,
located on the right of your menu bar, shows you how
Snoopy’s doing at all times. Of course, Snoopy needs
energy to play, sometimes more, sometimes less. If the
Snoopymeter drops below zero, Snoopy needs your attention really fast. Give him something to eat or drink, or
a little nap on his doghouse. Hints where to find some food
or a resting place for Snoopy are below in the description of
the various stations in the search for the lost blanket.

Inventory Box
On the menu bar, you find a small closet. Here, you can
collect things that you find when searching for Linus’
blanket. If your mouse cursor turns into a small paw while
you move it and an object attaches to it, you can collect it
in the inventory box for later use. To see if you can use a
collected object during stages of the game, click on the
object and drag it from the box onto the screen. Don’t know
what to do with that pair of sunglasses? Look below in the
description of the various places for some more hints on
where to use the objects.

Games:
While searching for Linus’ blanket you´ll come across nine
different games. Your game-playing skills are needed!
Use the correct items and click in the correct places, and
you´ll find them all. If you can’t find the games or don’t know
how to play them, read on for more details. All the games
you find are being saved. You can play them again at any
time. To play them again, click on the kite in the menu bar.

2

Are you sure that you need more help to uncover the
lost blanket’s secret?

OK, here you go!

Charlie Brown’s room
Here you find the Great Houndini’s hat. It’s either in the
cupboard (if you play with Charlie Brown) or on top of it
(if you play with Lucy).

The Browns’ living room
Look around in the living room. In the chest of drawers you´ll
find a mysterious crystal ball, if you play with Charlie Brown.
If you play with Lucy, the ball comes rolling out from under
the coffee table. Place the crystal ball in the bowl on the
table. There’s a bottle of root beer on top of the bookshelf.
If the Snoopymeter drops and our beagle needs some extra
energy, click on it to quench Snoopy´s thirst.

The Browns’ hallway
Check out the hallway. Collect the sunglasses from the top
of the coat rack. If you click on the kitchen door, you’ll find
Snoopy who’s busy baking Pizza.

The Browns’ kitchen
If you are in the kitchen, click on the oven, so that Snoopy
can bake the Pizza. If you click on the oven again, Snoopy
takes it out and enjoys his meal. What´s Snoopy wearing
around his neck? Click on him to find out.

3

Game: Catch the Beagle
Once you’re back in the living room you have to catch
Snoopy. Click on him to catch him. Be quick!

The Browns’ living room
Change Snoopy into the Great Houndini! Put the magic
hat on him, which you’ve found in Charlie Brown’s room.
He doesn´t want to perform magic? Well, are you sure
you´ve found and placed the crystal ball in the right place?

Game: The Great Houndini
At the magic show, your job is to put Peppermint Patty back
together. Click on the arrows on the compartments, and the
parts behind will shift either up or down or from left to right.

If you click on the handles on the compartments, they’ll
open and you can see which part of Peppermint Patty lies
behind each door.

4

Charlie Brown’s room
Did you notice, that something has changed in here? Yes,
there is a library card lying on the desk. Click on it to get
out to the library and this will get you closer to the blanket.

In front of the library
Usually, dogs aren’t allowed in libraries. But maybe if you
disguise Snoopy with the sunglasses you took from the
hallway, he´ll have a chance to get in…
Snoopy has lost too much energy already? Check out the
book drop for some cookies just waiting to energize a
hungry beagle.

In the library
Who might have checked out books with Charlie Brown’s
library card? And where did that mysterious person sit?
Click on the bell on top of the counter, maybe the librarian
knows something.

Game: Search the book game
You have to find the correct book. It has to be on one of
the desks in the library’s various rooms. To look at a book’s
cover, you have to click on it.

5

If you think it’s the right one, click on it again. If you forgot
the book’s exact description, click on “help” to hear
it again.

Sally’s room
Sally was the one to visit the library! In her room, you´ll find
the map to guide you to the computer camp. The map is
either on the bulletin board (if you play with Charlie Brown)
or on the bookshelf (if you play with Lucy).

What’s this? There are all kinds of strange blue pieces of
cloth scattered through the room. Isn’t that…?
Put them together and find out.

On the way to computer camp
To get to the computer camp, you have to take the bus.
But someone’s got to drive it! How about Snoopy? Put the
bus driver’s hat on Snoopy to turn him into the perfect bus
driver. But without a map he’ll be lost. Drag the map from
the inventory box onto the clipboard next to the driver, and
off you go!

6

Game: A bus ride to computer camp
The arrows show you the way. Click on an arrow to steer
the bus in its direction, and lead Snoopy and the bus on the
shortest route to computer camp. Watch out for one-way
streets!

Computer Camp, Hallway
It takes some brains to get past the stubborn robot.
Click on the door behind him. He will only let you pass if
you answer some of his questions.

Game: Training
If the game is easier, you have to find the correct Linus.
If the game is a bit more difficult, you have to solve some
tricky math questions.

Large computer room
You made it past the robot? Great. Then you can continue
to look for Sally. If you need a little break, check out a great
drawing game hiding here. Click on the color pallet you’ll
see on the computer monitor in the front right side of the
screen. If Snoopy needs a nap, you can place him on the
hut doghouse in the picture on the wall, this will surely work!

7

Game: Drawing
Here, you can color in your favorite Peanuts and combine
them with various backrounds. You can even print out
everything in black&white or in color. Roll over the buttons
to hear how everything works.

Computer camp, small room
Click on Lucy/Charlie Brown to learn more about the
blanket’s whereabouts. You’re right! Sally took the blanket!

In front of the van Pelts’ house
Ring the doorbell and ask Linus’ grandmother, whether
she’s received a package with the blanket. No trace of the
blanket left or right? Move your mouse to the left, there
you’ll find Schroeders´ house. Maybe they have accepted
the package?

Schroeder’s piano room
Schroeder is completely immersed in his play. Unless
Snoopy… If you click on Schroeders notes, Snoopy will
completly mess up his music. And now you have to put it
back in order.

8

Game: Music game
Schroeder’s music is completely messed up, scores are
flying across the room. From the music notes, you have to
find the melodies Schroeder is playing to you and drag them
onto the score. If the game is easier, you’ll get a three-note
melody, if it´s the more difficult level you´ll get
two of them.

Schroeder’s house, hallway
Once you’re done with the music, you should check out
the hallway. What’s up there on the windowsill? Looks like
a package. Now you need a ladder to get there. You’ll find
one behind the door on the upper left.

Schroeder’s music room, hallway
What’s that noise? Check it out! But don’t stay away from
the hallway too long…the package is gone? No way! Who
could have taken it? Schroeder’s mother perhaps?

Schroeder’s kitchen
Something is hidden here to help you: a shopping list. If
you play with Lucy, it’s hidden under the refrigerator, if you
play with Charlie Brown, it’s on the windowsill. Collect the
shopping list in the inventory box and give it to Schroeder
once you´ve returned to the hallway.

9

Supermarket, main room
The search leads to the supermarket, no doubt. Drag the
shopping list onto Snoopy, so that he can get Schroeder´s
mother’s scent. Snoopy is too exhausted to do anything of
that sort? Move the mouse over to the right side of the
screen, where the room continues, and where there are
some cookies to invigorate the hungry beagle.

Game: Supermarket Rally
Snoopy has the scent and runs away. Follow quickly! But be
cautious, the aisles are scattered with pyramids of cans and
cheese boxes, and carts with fruit and vegetable are parked
in your way. You can steer your characters with the arrow
keys on your keyboard. If you bump into an obstacle, you
have to sort everything and put it back in place. How that
works exactly will be explained to you at the beginning of
the game.

Supermarket, side room
Yes indeed: Schroeder´s mother has taken the blanket. And
put it in the kitchen closet. Hurry up, and quickly return to
Schroeder’s house!
.

Schroeder’s house, kitchen closet
There’s lots of household and cleaning stuff, but no blanket!
But what about that open window? Click on it. Maybe you’ll
find something in the garden.

10

Schroeder’s garden
Here you can collect some interesting objects. For example
that little yellow feather, hiding in the bushes , or that tiny
helmet hanging between two trees… And the blanket? You
probably need the help of a real detective here. Follow
Snoopy to his doghouse. Click on the garden door in the
fence to get there.

Snoopy’s hut
Click on the hut, Snoopy will enter and return changed into
his “secret agent” costume. Return with him to the front
part of the garden you just came from.

Schroeder’s garden
Show the little feather to the secret agent so that he can
look for clues. A little yellow feather? That probably means,
Woodstock can´t be far. Click on the tree in the right back of
the screen and see for yourself.

Under the tree
Woodstock knows something – and leads you up into the
top of the tree. How convenient that Beagle ears can also
serve as helicopter wings. But: safety first! Put the helmet
on Woodstock.

11

Game: Flying game
It’s not that easy to get to the tree top. Branches and leaves
are in the way everywhere. With your mouse, lead Snoopy
and Woodstock safely up to the tree top. The path can be
quite simple or, if you choose the more difficult level, quite
tricky.

In the tree top
…there’s a lot happening. Many of Woodstock´s friends are
hanging out in their nests. Move your mouse on the screen
to the right. A little bit further off is an interesting nest with
something even more interesting inside…
