U have to download something called widescreen fix for nfs most wanted you can watch many videos on how to install it
For anyone who is trying to open the game and it doesn’t work, download the “dll” archive and extract it on the game folder. After that, download this archive and extract it in the games folder too.

Try installing the registry key inside the setup. Or reinstalling direct X might help.
