How to play on Windows (NFS_Underground_2_v102_Win_Setup_EN.rar
- Download and extract Need_for_Speed_Underground_2_Win_Setup_EN.zip
- Inside the extracted folder, open the folder called “Game Files” and in there, you want to double click on the file called “NFSUnderground2_1.2_setup.exe”. The game setup should launch. You can leave all options at default
- To launch the game, go into the installation directory of the game. By default, this is “C:\Program Files (x86)\NFS Underground 2″ and then double click on the file called “SPEED2.exe”. The game should now launch.
- Enjoy the game!

Evertime there is the pop up insert disc 2
Anyone else has the problem that the game is not starting?
Its not the “Insert Disc” problem. Its just doing nothing if I want to start. I tried the compatibility mode without success.
It still telling me to insert Disc 2, is there anything else i need to do?
Is there a way to play using a controller? it only seems to work if I use my keyboard or am i missing something?
Also, the fix Jogrewalk posted was a god send. I’ll repost so it doesn’t get lost (props to Jogrewalk)
Solution to insert disc 2 from jgrooms272 on Reddit. It works.
“Easiest trick I’ve found is the text file trick. 1.Navigate to your NFSU2 install folder. 2.Make sure you have option on to show file extensions in windows (Google it if you don’t know). 3. Right Click, Select New > Text File 4. Rename the text file FOOBAR making sure to delete the .txt file extension 5. Window will give you a prompt saying that you’re changing the file extension type (if you don’t get this, you did it wrong), just hit ok. 6. Should be able to launch the game.”
I followed directions as stated but it wont load, one says the cdrom insert stuff and the other attempts to open but only goes to black screen then back
its askling me to inseert disk when i click to start
i read all infos about the installment of this game, also this in the wiki, but i didnt understand how to install the game succesfully without the info of disc 2. I think not one of the variants function for this game cause it hase no ISO/ROM nor even can I found an MDS/MDF, IMG, BIN/CUE, NRG, and CCD files.
If some one have a video or an good installation guide only for this game that would be very nice.

#Gimbo trainer.exe is not getting installed due to which entire game is not getting installed.
