Need for Speed: Underground is the seventh installment in the Need for Speed series, and was developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts in 2003. Two different games were produced, one for consoles and Windows, and the other for the Game Boy Advance.

  3. Open the extracted “Need_for_Speed_Underground_Win_Installed_EN” folder and then open the “Game Files” folder.
  4. Double click on the file called “Speed.exe” and Need for Speed: Underground should now launch.
  5. Enjoy!

  1. i have to restart the entire game after it crashez, and it is crashing quiet a lot anyone got the same? does anyone have a fix for that?

    • Hi, yes it crashes after few saves, you will have to find a “speed” file somewhere on the internet for the game, so it will run on wide screen, that prevents the crashing

  3. Anyone being prompted to insert disk:
    1) Make sure the game files are on desktop
    2) Open files
    3) In file explorer click view
    4) Check “File name extensions”
    5) Create text file named “foobar”
    6) Right click foobar
    7) “change name”
    8) delete “.txt”
    9) confirm the pop-up text
    10) Should launch fine

  4. When i noticed the file was only a bit over 100mb i knew it wouldn`t have the soundtracks. But the link in the comments for the fix is great!
