A.                    Minimum System Requirements
                      ----------------------------
Dinosaur Battles minimum system requirements are the following:

Operating System: Windows(r) 95, 98, ME or 2000

Computer System: Pentium(tm) II 266MHz PC or Faster
                 64 MB RAM
		 150 MB of Free Hard Drive Space
                 12X CD-ROM drive 
                 3D Accelerated SVGA Video Display 640 x 480 16 bit High color
                 Windows compatible sound card
		 Internet Service Provider (ISP) (optional)

For best performance, the program needs to run in 16-bit color.

C.                        Installing the Program
                          ----------------------

1. Insert the Dinosaur Battles CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. If your system supports the Auto Play feature, then the
   Setup will start automatically. Just follow the prompts to 
   complete the installation.
3. However, if your system does not support Auto Play, then select
   the Start button;
4. Choose Run from the Start Menu.
5. At the Open box, type "D:\install.exe", where D is the letter
   of your CD-ROM drive.
6. Click on OK and follow the prompts.

D.                     Running the Program
                       --------------------

1. Insert the Dinosaur Battles CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. For systems that support AutoPlay, a dialog box will appear
   with the following buttons:

     Play --     Launches Dinosaur Battles. 
     Help --     Launches the Help Manual.
     Exit --     Closes the program.
     
3. For systems that do not support AutoPlay, select the
   Dinosaur Battles icon from the Programs menu at the
   Start button.



Note: If your system is running a custom desktop, refer to the 
      manufacturer's documentation for instructions on special 
      circumstances.

E.                     Uninstalling the Program
                       ------------------------

1. Insert the Dinosaur Battles CD in the CD-ROM drive.
   
2. Select the Uninstall icon from the Dinosaur Battles/Jurassic Park/
   program group at the Start menu and follow the prompts.

F.                Troubleshooting and Performance Tips
                  ------------------------------------

If you are experiencing slow performance:
---------------------------
1. Close any unnecessary applications that may be running.
2. Make sure your display setting is at 16-bit color or higher. Refer to your system or
   Windows documentation for instructions on how to change your color depth and resolution.

If you are experiencing problems with graphics:
--------------------------
If you experience graphics problems while running 
Dinosaur Battles, contact your video card or system
vendor to obtain the latest version of the video driver.

If you are experiencing problems with sound:

If you experience sound problems while running 
Dinosaur Battles, contact your sound card or system
vendor to obtain the latest version of the sound driver.

                    Improving system performance
                    ----------------------------
                                 
These tips are designed to improve your system's performance:

1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, then click 
   Properties.
2. From the dialog box, select the Performance tab.
3. Click the File System button.
4. Select the CD-ROM tab. Set the Supplemental cache size to
   Large.
5. Match the Optimize access pattern setting to that of your
   CD-ROM. (It should be set to Quad-speed or higher.)
6. Click Apply, then OK. 
7. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Reinstalling Dinosaur Battles 
---------------------------------------
If you have deleted or uninstalled any parts of the program and
are having problems, try reinstalling Dinosaur Battles. 
See Section C for instructions on installing the program.

			------------

Always ensure that your system is using the most recent up-to-date drivers
for both Video and sound cards. 

Unsupported Video Cards: The following video cards are known to have
performance issues and are not supported with this product.

	3Dfx Voodoo 1 (tm)
	3Dfx Voodoo 2 (tm)
	S3 Virge (tm) (all video cards using this chipset)
	Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 PCI (tm)

Video Cards unsupported on selected Operating systems: The following video cards
are known to have performance issues and are not supported by the video card 
manufacturers on the following operating system.

	Diamond Viper V550 (tm) - Win 2000/XP
	ATI Radeon PCI (tm) - Win 2000/XP
	ATI Rage Fury Maxx (tm) - Win 2000/XP
	STB Velocity 128 (tm) - Win 2000/XP
	Diamond Fire GL (tm) - Win 2000/XP

If you encounter graphic anomalies when running the application using the Nvidia GeForce3 (tm) video card. Please refer to the computer and or video card manufacture for the latest
system and or video card updates.
