Request a game

Is there a lost game from your childhood that you really want to play again? Request it below and we’ll try our best to add it to our archive. Rare games which we are not able to source will be added to our Missing Games list.

Before requesting, read the rules

  1. The game must be abandonware: no longer sold or supported, with no official way to buy it.
  2. No Nintendo games. They re-release their back catalogue on current hardware.
  3. Search the library first, in case we already have it.
  4. For help with a game that won’t run, comment on that game’s own page rather than here.
  5. Be civil, and no spam.

Umm…… There was this game on a version of Software USA. It’s in first person and when you die, the game over screen is a skull with a Indiana Jones like hat.

There is a game from my childhood I love very much called Maelstrom, released in 1992 on DOS. NOT the asteroids clone, which is also named Maelstrom AND was released the SAME year. The odds, right? Just search for it and keep in mind it is NOT the one that looks like asteroids. I got a copy off an abandonware site but I think there was something wrong with it because the battles didn’t work right. I have been looking for games like it for a while but none seem to get it right.
Get Maelstrom and you will be my best friend. Here are some pictures to help you. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/303ebf9b2756ceefac0491d1f64b3b544bfba2979022b379d26324e14b25634d.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a9ea50eabe9f40d8741bdf8e563ffb0ffbd89a5f50c04f3a7cc8185170424c57.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2fcc5907eb55ac05cb9d41a8ebf3b26d57a0a57ae7b34894e55e7c6617430cdb.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/840114298e080fbc2498be70caf38a62cebc7a77a45847730a1023713661c103.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/429bd855554e76a12a7f3e0451fb499a70799a2fa3f12882238b297399b70caa.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/746fcc3cb34eb59beecf1e0e2d10a7eddd15cbd756b49e8d165c3f7d546ef9fb.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/47052f4ff2e011b45dabdcf8dce75a1c46dc351475585908cda9c5882c673d77.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/89f033687de90801a4cd712e3a69cf74d90faa54e4a5f20abecbd4df3bd036c0.gif https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/dc1a4084dde01007a97ba1c915c25ea3a2f12292af19158feeb652d4dd0d5e61.gif

Highlights Puzzlemania and Highlights Hidden Pictures Workshop. These two games meant so much to my childhood and I spent hours and hours playing and learning with this game. Edutainment games from this time were instant classics and would fit right in here. Please please could you add these.
