Game Description
Rule of Rose is a survival horror video game developed by Punchline for the PlayStation 2. Set in England in 1930, the plot revolves around a nineteen-year-old woman named Jennifer, who becomes trapped in a world ruled by young girls who have established a class hierarchy called the Red Crayon Aristocrats. It was first released in 2006 by Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan. After Sony Computer Entertainment’s American and European branch did not express interest in localizing the title, it was published later that year by Atlus USA in North America and by 505 Games in Europe.

The game starts just fine and is running pretty smoothly, but for some reason the opening cinematic (where Jennifer is on the bus) was all black and only the subtitles and the audio worked. After that the game was going as normal, but I do’nt know if this will keep happening.
First time trying to download an old game. I’m trying to download the emulator but it’s asking for my ps2 bios (I don’t have a ps2). Is there anyway I can go through this without a ps2? I also tried to extract the .7z file and tried to open it through the .7z application, but it won’t work. I was able to open the ps2_iso_en.7z file on the .7z file manager. Not sure what to look for here though because I can’t seem to open the game.

you can search for ps2 bios on web. download the file, extract it with 7zip. then extract the emulator file with 7zip. open the emulator and when it asks for ps2 bios, select the bios folder. if you need a detailed instructions you can check out the pcxs2 setup guide by shandell james on yt

I have the emulator set up, but it’s only playing the cutscenes like a movie instead of the actual game. Also I can’t seem to find the exact iso file. Can anyone help?
