    This game is so buggy. Whenever I ride anything faster than trot, I can’t get up hills. And if it’s going downhill, my horse will slide in top speed down the hill. So I’m not able to ride the last championship at all, since it’s going up and down a hill…
    Makes me think there must’ve been a patch for these game in the past, because on youtube the other players don’t have this problem. Without the supposed-to-be-happened patch this game is unfinishable. -.-

        No, this is actually a bug. I saw videos of people having no trouble running up hills. And it’s not a problem in the other 3 Star Stable games on this website here.

      Hey Klavier, I know this is three years too late, but in case anyone is having this same issue: I went into the game files, and right-clicking onto the PXR-whatever file, I then clicked properties, and went into the compatibility tab. I selected Windows 7, as that was the system the game was made for. I now no longer infinitely slide into oceans 😀

      Nevermind. I figured out now that you have to load the ISO into a virtual drive everytime you start the game.

    Hello! I successfully installed the game, but I get black screen when I open it. Any ideas? I hear the sounds, I see the cursor, but nothing else.

    i have installed the game and it was working fine. but i have now tried to open the game but it says i need to ‘insert disc’? i am really confused and do not want to lose my saved data

      I had the exact same problem. so what your wanna do is, open Star_Stable_Win_ISO_EN.CZ.FI.HU.DE.NO.SE folder, go in Game Files, then Star Stable 1 in that folder and then click on Setup, specifically the one, which is an application.
      when you do this setup, it’s gonna delete your game (idk how exactly this works, but I DO NOT advise to delete your game in other ways, only with the setup) and you’re maybe thinking, “oh no, but my progress”, i thought the same thing, then you do this setup AGAIN and you open your game and your progress is gonna be right there

    I am beyond disappointed, that there isn’t a polish version. The original game came out in 2008 in swedish, russian, and polish, but yet there isn’t a polish version among all the different newly added languages. There is even czech, but not polish? I really hope that it gets added as soon as possible, as I’d really enjoy this much more.

      Hiiiii, I have same problem. I have windows 11. I try low screen but still doesn’t work. I have pc with windows 10 and it work but in windows 11 doesn’t work.. I try everything but I don’t have idea..

    really love the game, just one question
    where can you see how much money you have ingame? i can’t find it anywhere but i know i have at least some because i did tasks for herman

      Okay so, if you click down there on the “person” icon (next to it you have a horse icon as well) and theres your stable points, thats basically your money (its next to the XP, on the right, just in case you’re playing in a diff language than english)

    I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME
    this was the first star stable game ive ever played when i was like 7 when it first came out and i will forever be a fan of the franchise
