This broke my game it reset all of my game data and now i bascially have a new game it stole all my cc and neigborhoods after i had to uninstall it dont download it this way just buy it
Hello, I downloaded Sims2 Apartment Life and it didn’t get added as an expansion to my base game.
The file name shows as: The_Sims 2_Apartment_Life_Win_ISO_EN
A folder with the same name appears inside.
How do I make it run as a proper expansion? Thanks for the help.

So I tried to use the MEGA link as those are particularly faster (sometimes), and after a while it was still trying to transfer. Suddenly it said ‘Error, retrying’. It was stuck on that so I don’t know if this is true but maybe the MEGA link is a link to a file that doesn’t exist anymore.
Disc 4 of the main game is needed to install any expansion pack as they require a version check or whatever it is after the installation process that cannot be completed without having that disc. The single ISO of the main game that’s spread via abandonware websites including this one will not do, you can’t install any expansions on it. Quite an issue.

Contains a link to the updated game files that will cause any expansion pack installers to not have to run the updater.
did you ever find out a way around this . apartment life is the ONLY game i have no disk for so i had to uninstall it bc free time is the last disc i have installed. so when i go to play apartment life it asks for a disk wich i dont have only the download from here.

I can’t install thel expasion pack. it says that it can’t update end it unstall the program… sorry my poor english 🙁
You have to install a patch or whatever it’s called.
