    asks me to insert cd rom. my pc also tells me it wont run the app because its not compatible with windows 11, dunno what “4GB Patch and Graphics Rules Maker” is. please advise

      I posted earlier and wanted to update, my problem actually was that I did not disable my antivirus software (real time protection) and my pc deleted some files while downloading. That step is suggested and actually necessary. I was missing important files. I redownloaded with antivirus off and was able to accurately follow the steps and am able to run the game now

    when I was playing this game. I noticed that my sims would have a black square underneath them if they were the one I was playing as do you know how to fix this?

    My game keeps crashing even though I have 4gb ram patch and graphics rule maker. When I try to select and play a household, it keeps doing that..

    The resolution step is listed as optional, but it is required if you’re on a modern computer and using a bigger monitor. The game will glitch badly upon loading without it. It worked smoothly once I got that fixed. I’m not able to change Shadow settings, though. I’m happy to be able to play this. I paid for a “complete” Sims 2 collection on my old Mac, and it didn’t even have as many packs as this download does, so I’m very grateful this is here.

    Step 1: Download TheSims2UltimateCollection.rar

    Step 2: Install the latest version of DirectX in order to avoid any crashes & errors.

    Step 3: Once your Sims2UltimateCollection.rar file has finished downloading, Extract the file by either using WinRAR/7-zip.

    Step 4: Go into the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection folder, click into Game Files and double-click on the Setup.exe in order to install the game.

    Step 5: Disable any form of Anti-Virus software to avoid any crashing and errors. All files 100% clean and do not contain malware.

    Step 6: Download the 4GB Patch and Graphics Rules Maker.

    Step 7: Once the game has been successfully installed, There will now be a Sims 2 Icon on your Desktop or anywhere you’ve selected for it to be stored.

    Step 8: Always run the game as an administrator to avoid any crashing and errors.

    FINALLY i’ve been trying to get this game to work, It works so well with Windows 11. No crashes, no errors, definitely worth downloading if you know how to properly install it. The only problem i had was with DirectX and i forgot to get the latest version of it. But overall, it turned out pretty good. The game runs pretty well and smoothly. Always make sure to apply the 4GB Patch and download the Graphics Rules Maker in order for the game to function with Windows 11 or Windows 10 <3

    hey so i have tried to play it, but every time it starts to run there is a pop up with the title the sims 2 Mansion & Garden stuff. the box is empty. i can click on the red cross on the top but then the game crashed. if i click on the the empty boy thingy it also crashed. what is happening? how can i fix it?

    Thank you! Playing the game a few days now. When I reload my household it reverts back to a previous stage (missing furniture, updates, ect) any suggestions to fix this? xo
