    Is it safe to try to only install some of the expansion packs? They do come in separate folders, so it looks like you could, and I don’t want all of this stuff right away.

    I download the game and did everything specified in the notes. I open the game, the intro work but once the main menu loading screen finishes loading the game always crashes and terminates. I tried deleting the files and download it again and its still having the same issues.

    I also can’t open the dxwebsetup application it just says “error creating process (with the files its trying to make) and reason: INDOWSsystem32advpack.dll). How do I fix this so the game stops crashing. I really love this game and wanna play it so muchhhhh

      Umm, idk what happen with your game. Have u tried to remove The Sims 2 folder in DocumentsEA Games?

      The dxwebsetup.exe only work if you have Windows XP. Windows 7, 8, and 10 DO NOT need that.

    I tried to download the torrent, but after opening the .rar file it didn’t contain the setup.exe file. does anyone know how to fix this? I used bittorrent web if that helps

    I’m getting the error: “Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. This application will now terminate.” Anyone know how to fix this? Im also getting the “no disk” error as well

    Hi! I really want to download this but by downloading the sims 3 i have broken my computer 2 times already. Right now im on my brothers computer so i want to make sure it is a 100% safe for me to download it and it wont mess up my computer.

    I’m having some issues with the sound… I’ve noticed when I’m in Build/Buy mode the sound will “crackle/pop” every time I delete/place an item. It also happens in Live mode randomly. I’ve tried completely muting all sound and it still happens for some reason. Not sure what can be causing it.

    I can’t find the sims 2 mansion and garden stuff file?
    to try and change my resolution, I made it windowed mode but resolution still says the same.
