    Hello, the installation was no problem but whenever I start the game I see the Sims 2 loading screen for a while and then the game just closes itself without showing an error. I have Windows 10. Sorry for the bad english it is not my native language

    Hey please I need help!!!!!
    I’ve downloaded the game and the setup went smoothly….BUT whenever I choose a family to play it crashes during the loading screen and it says application is crashed…I didnt be able to play it . PLEASE SOMEONE HELP❤️

    Game runs pretty good! Quick question, I tried downloading some custom content, but the game can’t seem to detect or read anything I put in the Downloads folder for the game (and yes I extracted it and have cc enabled). Does cc not work with this or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello everyone, I installed the game correctly and weirdly … After a while there is this sentence that appears and closes my game: “Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY! The application will now terminate.” Do you know what the problem is?

    Hello everyone, I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve tried to install Sims 2 Ultimate Collection several times. The game works, but it is very slow. Do you have a solution to my problem? I would be surprised if this is due to my computer because it is very efficient. Thanks a lot for your answers.

    P.S. Just to clarify, by “very slow” I mean it’s laggy.

    Hi when the installation gets to 50% I get an error message.

    an error occured while unpacking: unable to write data to disk
    unarc.dll returned to error code -11

    The game runs great!…But I’m having issues changing the resolution from fullscreen to widescreen. Everytime I launch the game it goes to fullscreen and items/sims all look noticeably squashed. Is there a way to fix this?

    If you’re still have the directx.9 crash issue after updating your drivers here’s the solution. First, Install the graphic rule maker https://www.simsnetwork.com/tools/graphics-rules-maker.

    Run it as administrator via right-click. Select Auto Detect option button at the bottom under the “settings” tab. Hit save files. This is the key…otherwise your game wont see it’s graphic options as optimized for your system, hence your continual crash. Hope with helps.

    Having some trouble, installation is fine til 50% but then it wants me to route it to a set up bin 2, but I think that file might be missing. Everyone else find that file or am I just doing something wrong?

      Hi, I just had this problem but with setup bin 1. I had to redownload the entire file and unzip again as set up 1 was apparently “corrupt” and wouldnt extract from the .zip file. Maybe this will be your problem too, hope this helps!

    I put the file in my D drive and when I try to install the game it has error code -11, ‘unable to write data to disk’. Not sure if I’m missing something but advice would be appreciated! 🙂

    I have windows 10
    I’ve downloaded extracted and followed the instructions to the last point. Yet everytime I click on the Icon to play I get the same message about not having the directX 9.0c grafic card I’ve tried updating it still nothing. I’m in desperate need of help :(( all I want to do is play

    Hope I’m not speaking too soon lol but been playing this perfectly for nearly a month. My laptop has very little space but got this to work by saving it to my external hard drive. When I started saving the game, the issue of not having enough space did come up but I deleted my other sims games as I do not play them and it’s been fine. All in all, I’ve tried to download this many times in the past and it hasn’t worked. Even on my old laptop which had a lot of space, I would play the game but no progress would be saved or some neighbourhoods didn’t load. But yeah it’s been a great experience, I recommend saving the game onto an external hard drive if space is an issue. I have the black boxes problem but it doesn’t bother me tbh. Anyway thanks for making this game available to download, it’s given me soo much joy 😊
