A few months ago I mentioned here in the comments that some packs are missing (Happy Holiday Stuff and Holiday Stuff)
But I was wrong. Happy Holiday Stuff is in this file, it just doesn’t have it’s own folder.
And it’s important to note that Happy Holiday Stuff is an updated pack of Holiday Stuff, so you’ve got everything and more. As well as some gift items that was given away with the packs back in the day.
The point of this comment is that this is the Complete Ultimate Collection!
When installing remember to:
1. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP
2. ALWAYS INSTALL AS ADMINISTARTOR (some of you get errors because the PC doesn’t have administrative control over the drive you’re trying to install the game on. Remember, the program will always install on your C drive [where Windows is located] by default if not changed)
3. MAKE SURE THE DRIVE YOU’RE INSTALLING ON HAS ENOUGH SPACE (16GB and more [for saves and cc])
4. INSTALL THE 4GB PATCH/LAZYDUCHES LAUNCHER
5. INSTALL GRAPHICS RULES MAKER TO ALLOW TS2 TO USE MORE TEXTURE MEMORY (IMPORTANT FOR NVIDIA CARD USERS)

There’s a few guides on YouTube, I’d suggest looking at CozyPixels as well as Pleasant Sims, they both have good guides. Pleasant Sims also has an entire guide on her website dedicated to The Sims 2.
Is it a lot of work? Maybe for someone who really struggles with PC’s.
Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!!
The Sims 2 is a very old game, but she’s an Icon and a star and should be handled with care and should be played more! Hope this helps.

(This is a guide I found on the web) however if you don’t want to play in windowed mode and would rather play in Full Screen Windowed mode I’d highly suggest you download LazyDuches launcher from Tumblr, the launcher has a bunch of useful settings like the 4GB patch built in, the window options, a place to change the amount of money it costs to change object swatches in game [usually it costs a sim 5 simoleons to change the colour swatch of an already placed object] as well as the option to choose which packs you’d like to play with, but the best function of the launcher that I really like is that upon every new launch it clears the games cache for you, so you don’t have to go into the files and do it yourself and run the risk of deleting something you shouldn’t have.
But try this first and see if it works, then you’ll know that was the problem. If it doesn’t work I’ll search with you till we find the solution!

How to Enable Windowed Mode in The Sims 2
Follow these steps to get The Sims 2 to run in windowed mode:
Locate the shortcut you use to start The Sims 2. It’s most likely on your desktop, where it appears by default when the game is first installed.
Right-click or tap-and-hold the shortcut, then pick Properties from the menu.
In the Shortcut tab, next to the Target: field, go to the very end of the command and put a space followed by -window (or -w).
Click or tap the OK button to save and exit.
Open The Sims 2 to test the new windowed mode shortcut. If the game opens in full-screen again, return to Step 3 and make sure there’s a space after the normal text, before the dash, but that there isn’t a space between the dash and the word “window.”

This is the Complete Ultimate Collection. Happy Holiday Stuff is included, it just doesn’t have it’s own folder, but all objects from that pack is there as well as interactions like throwing a new years bash. Furthermore everything else is there.
