    Works very well. Only thing is that I cannot get rid of the black square even when I turn shadows off. Any recommendations?

    Hi, thank you for this absolutely love it!
    Only thing is that I cant change the resolution and I have tried going into files etc but cant find anything in there

    Is there going to be an update to this? I did everything correctly and the game keeps crashing. I haven’t gotten to play it once. Just wondering if this is a lost cause or if something will change in the future so I can try again then?

      “If you can’t change the resolution of the game from 800×600 to another, read ‘Resolution change.txt’ textfile provided in the “Game Files” folder. If they are asking you for administrator permission, then move the file to your desktop, make the changes and then drag it back to its original folder.”

    Heyy, just wanted to leave a (long) comment here for people who are struggling with the installation process. Especially to those that encountered the persistent “unarc.dll error” or “isdone.dll error” and their variants – basically telling you the files are corrupted.

    Have tried to deal with this issue for several hours, but to no luck. Tried searching around in Sims 2 threads and watching videos specifically to these errors:

    – Long story short, the download link and installation provided here (which is safe BTW!) just conflicts with devices that have updated OS.

    – You can still fix these issues, but it’s a long and arduous process which can be confusing for non-techy people (like myself). Since it’s a problem on a device-to-device basis, there’s no “fix all” solution unfortunately.

    ^^ I have followed the instructions written here, and Sims 2 has been running smoothly for the past few days!

    Again, there’s no issue with the link provided in this page, just that the process is incompatible to a lot of modern devices – which leads to crashing and install issues.
