The Sims 2: University is the first expansion pack for the strategic life simulation computer game The Sims 2 developed at the Redwood Shores studio of Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on March 1, 2005 to mixed reception. The expansion pack adds a new aging period to Sims which is Young Adult. Once they reach this life period, they can go to University to earn a degree, allowing them to take up any one of four graduate-exclusive careers. The expansion added several key gameplay elements which have been included in all expansions succeeding it. The Sims 2: University has won two Editor’s Choice awards from syndicated game review publications.

      This step by step instruction guide is the best!. I had been trying for a couple months to install University! Everyone who is having problems please try and follow it. I didn’t want to download any stuff packs either, but I’m glad I did. After I completed this tutorial and set up, I then installed University and even though it kept telling me that I don’t have the CD I still got to play it because I used the Mansions and Gardens Stuff Pack shortcut instead of the University shortcut and it worked. Good Luck!

      No, But you can purchase The Sims 2 Super Collection on the mac app store, it comes with the base game and a few expansions and stuff packs, University is included with it <3

    Hello, I installed The Sims 2 University already but then it says “Please ensure The Sims 2 University disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application.”. I did as it says but still won’t work. I placed the crack into the right directory also. Please help.

    Edit 2 hours after (the same day lol): I can’t believe I managed to fix the insert CD error by installing NIGHTLIFE expansion pack. And yes I can open the game. I’mma install the other expansion pack now.

    Hello, it goes right until the end up the installation. Since there is no setup file, I use autorun, which goes well until it tries to update the game and then uninstals itself. I tried it with both wifi on and off, but it still goes wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I complete the installation without any problem but when i launched it to play I got the “please ensure the sims 2 university disc is in the drive…” even when I already mount the CD1 & CD2, and when I click ok, the program closed itself… i try to uninstall and reinstall and still same problem happened?

        Yes after I mount both CD1 and 2 with daemon lite, the installing process went smooth, but after the download finish, I can’t launch the game as it say I should put the disc in the drive and restart the application..
