Do you need to install the original game first?

also whenever I hover over the phone the game just crashes
there is a problem. I installed the sims livin large and then this expansion pack but for some reason this one overwrites Livin Large. Is there a fix?
Maybe try naming livin large as Expansion Pack and house party as Expansion Pack 1 (delete the packs and install again)
