Game Description

The Sims Life Stories is a video game, the first game in The Sims Stories series. The game is a version of The Sims 2 optimized for laptops (and lower-end desktop computers) and bears similarities to the console ports of The Sims games. In Story mode, it begins with the problems of Riley Harlow and Vince Moore. Rewards are unlocked as set goals are achieved. In the open-ended Classic mode, the player creates Sims and then chooses how they’ll live their life. The Sims Life Stories was released on February 6, 2007. It is categorized as laptop-friendly since it lacks the need for an independent graphic card.

  1. Can someone help me with this error?
Whenever I try to play, it always crashes on the loading screen after I click learn to play.
It says: “Application has crashed. The application will now terminate.”
Is there something I can do to finally play this game? The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection works perfectly on my PC so it’s kind of weird.

  2. Well I played this several months back and I actually had a lot of fun. I got through Riley’s story with minimum issues and through almost all of Vincent’s story. He had to go to work right when the event to meet Naomi at the park started. He was up for a promotion and I know that if you miss an event, it resets the next day so you can try again., so I sent him to work instead. Regardless of what I did the event kept repeating even if I met up with her and completed that part of the event. It was stuck in this endless loop and not feeling like redoing both stories in their entireties over again, I gave up and uninstalled. I’m unaware if this is an error on the game’s end or my own, but I would keep an eye out for it.

    • How do you put “run as adminstrator” for the crack folder? This is for PC. I got all the way successfully to installing, but when I click on the newly created desktop shortcut it comes up with the Error: Please insert correct DC/DVD-ROM.

  5. I followed every step and even uninstalled and reinstalled, but the only option available for me is the “learn to play” one. When I click on it, it always crash. I even tried running on the Window XP compatibility mode and it still crashes. Tried installing Castaway — still get the same result. Doesn’t work for me.

  6. Hi! For some reason this simply won’t download on my device….I’ve used Archive.org and MEGA, and Archive.org simply makes no progress with the download even after hours (and I have quite fast internet), while MEGA makes me wait 6 hours to continue the second half of the download. I tried waiting those six hours but if I even minimized my browser it would pause the timer. Is there any reason this may be happening/any way to fix this?
