    It seems this (as well as the ISO on AbandonedWare) is corrupt on Windows and nothing we do seems to fix it.

    There’s some sort of script issue for Marine Mania where you simply can’t make money off shows. Per an older forum:

    “The tutorial claims that I should click on the feeding platform to open said window, but no matter where I click or what I press, the game simply does not want to open this window.” You can’t put a dollar amount on the stands where people sit to watch the shows.

    So where this ISO was pulled from is corrupt.

    It doesn’t work on MAC
    A pop up with this message appears and then nothing happens:
    The file /private/var/folders/_7/f5fvdns114n__tpvbsjrhx8m0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/7AE78AAC-E991-4650-A99B-C7C2FAD13EE5/d/.Zoo Tycoon.app does not exist.
    The Fake Image will be automatically ejected after 20 seconds as it is only needed to start. This window then also closes automatically.

    how do I fix this?

    I downloaded the zip and extracted it. I have 2 folders one called Marina and the other called Zoo_Tycn. I went into the zoo_tycn and clicked on setup.exe.

    I keep getting the error “setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup resource dll, unable to continue. Please reboot and try again.”

    Has anyone had issues with the maintenance workers not having any tasks? I cant seem to make them work. Everything works but the maintenance workers. Any help?

    i have extracted and downloaded all files – it will briefly run but then i get the error message “the code execution cannot proceed because iij15.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem”

    what can i do to fix this?

    I am trying to open the game but it is not working. Playing on Mac/Os Catalina 10.15.7. File opens and some loading screen pops up and then nothing :/ am I doing something wrong?

    For anyone having issues, here is what worked for me:

    – download the zip file and extract it

    – open the “game files” folder

    – for both ZOO_TYCN and MARINA, click on them, then open the “set-up” files and follow the instructions

    – once the set-up is complete, open the “NoCD” folder in the “game files” folder. Copy the “zoo.exe” file from there

    – find the “Zoo Tycoon” game folder. For me (I’m using Windows 10), this folder is in “Local Disk -> Program Files (x86) -> Microsoft Games”.

    – paste the “zoo.exe” file here. You will get a pop-up asking if you want to replace the current file in this location, agree to this

    – run the “zoo.exe” file (or click on the game icon on your desktop). The game should run fine now, or at least it did for me

      (To clarify, when I said “paste the “zoo.exe” file here”, I meant to paste it into the “Zoo Tycoon” game folder, not into the “Microsoft Games” folder. Sorry if that (or anything else here) was unclear.)

    I’ve gone through the setup. and installed both the regular and the marine. I’m not sure what you all mean by replacing the zoo.exe with the NOCD verision. It just says the ijl15.dll isn’t there

    I’m havving some trouble getting the game to launch fully. My compute does not have a disk port and the no cd option of the files only says “there is no ijl15.dll” I know this is a red flag.
