Alexander is a real-time strategy game created by GSC Game World (creators of Cossacks: European Wars and Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars) and published by Ubisoft, based on the 2004 film of the same name. Its gameplay is akin to that of Cossacks, with elements of the Age of Empires series and Age of Mythology visible.

    Cant get it to install all the way I get an error every time it asks to insert disk 2 I mount the first disk it installs and I unmount it and mount disk 2 and it errors how do you install this?

    So I can get it installed, replace the crack in the Alexander/Data folder, and then when I go to launch, it just opens the application and closes it right away. Any ideas why? Running Windows 11, and compatibility modes aren’t working.

    Those having issues with inserting Disk 2, you have to first eject Disk 1. It didn’t let me install fully when I had both disks mounted. Also sometimes it just gets stuck after inserting Disk 2 at like 65.3% or something, so if that happens just restart the process.

    I managed the installation but I still can’t run the game on windows 10 🙁

    Hello Friends

    Here I will tell you how to install the Game and without error message or instert CD2 message or Black screen issue..(WITHOUT Daemon Tools ) USING WINRAR STEP BY STEP

    Step 1 : Download The Game
    Step 2 : After download Open the “Alexander_Win_ISO_EN” with Winrar ( Not Extract )
    Step 3 : Open The Folder name “Game Files” again ( Not Extract )
    Step 4 : Now You See 2 Winrar Files name “Alexander CD1.iso and Alexander CD2.iso
    Step 5 : Extract the 2 Winrar files on your Desktop
    Step 6 : Create a new Folder on Desktop and rename Alexander Full Download
    Step 7 : Open the “Alexander CD1.iso” file that you previously extracted to the desktop with winrar and copy all of them to the Alexander Full Download folder
    Step 8 : Do the same with the “Alexander CD2.iso” file. Answer YES to the question of containing the same files and the same folder.
    Step 9 : You will now be able to install the game as a single part normally, without asking for CD 2
    Step 10 : !!! DONT USE CRACK FILE !!!!
    Step 11: Download the File below 1.09 Current patched version and Edited version of the game (High Pixel Support is available) etc.

      Hi, I have a few questions
      There is no (longer a) file below additional files, should there have been?
      The link you gave goes nowhere, should the file have been there? The game downloaded to a full 100%, but then I got some questions about downlaoding shadowsomething and somethingtools and some more things. I answered with “No” and then he shut down. He doesn’t want to open, install or install anymore

      What do I need to do to play the game?

    It Works guys… Using Daemon tools lite u have to use the same handle ( or disk [for example u use the virtual disk F for Cd1 then u eject Cd1 and destroy the handle (virtual disk F) , then u mount Cd2 that mounts on the previous used virtual disk F , press Alt + Tab to find the window that says to insert the CD2 and click yes … after that remains the crack copy there ”C:Program Files (x86)UbisoftGSC Game WorldAlexanderData” ALSO for windows 10 check out use the D3DPatch (xplay.dll) (( stolen from verok – giving credit where credit is due. )) from his/her page https://verokster.blogspot.com/2020/03/cossacks-ii-alexander-hoae.html and u can also check out this page https://0x7350.blogspot.com/2021/02/alexander-rc10-windows-10-fix.html

    Didn’t let me install DirectX through the launcher. Tried to install seperately online but the game just doesn’t launch after install. 🙁

    How do you Install CD2? It Installs the 1st part fine and asks for the 2nd CD to be inserted. What do i need to do to make the second part install?

    Also, Does the “crack” file need to be moved else where so the game would play?

      I mounted the CD1 on Daemon Tools. Then started the installation. Then I was asked to insert the CD2. So I did. I mounted the CD2 while the CD1 was still there. Then I said “Yes” to the “Please insert CD2” window. But it didn’t work. So I ejected CD1 and press “Yes”. The window disappeared and I went back to setup window. But loading is stuck at 63.6%. Doesn’t move…
      How to you do that ?

        it works.Window requesting cd2 is hidden behind instalator screen(use
        alt+tab to confirm it). After instalation copy engine.exe(cd2 crack
        folder)to data folder.
