About Axis & Allies

Axis & Allies is a real-time strategy World War II video game developed by TimeGate Studios and published by Atari for Microsoft Windows. The game was released on November 2, 2004. It is based on the board game series Axis & Allies from Milton Bradley and also on TimeGate's Kohan series. Set in the years after Japan and the United States entered into the war, the game allows the player to act as a World War II commander to build military forces to fight against other generals, using military units and technologies from the war. The player is able to alter the history of World War II.

    How to play on Windows

    1. Download the "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN.zip" file from the link above.
    2. Open the downloaded .zip file and extract the "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN" folder to your desktop. You will need to use a software such as WinRAR to do this.
    3. Open the extracted "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN" folder and then open the "Game Files" folder.
    4. Double click on the file called "AA.exe" and your game should now launch. When you first launch, they will ask you to insert a CD-key. Simply copy-paste the following key: B2WS-6JGH-PV7G-PBKP

    I’m receiving an error on startup saying
    ERROR: Processing non-Unicode TrueType font.

    anyone has found a fix to the issue error in processing non-Unicode TrueType font? i really miss this game 🙁

    Same problem as MAX and The Doctor

    I found this youtube video with the fix, but my A&A folder looks different from the guy in the video (he has the CD version). Wondering if this fix could somehow be added to the download posted on this website?

    Same thing as Max except in my case the game worked perfectly right up recently then as of June 10 when I tried to run it, same error in processing non-Unicode TrueType font. Nothing fixes it. Will check back to see if a fix is posted but until then, game is uninstalled.
