Emperor: Battle for Dune is a Dune video game, released by Westwood Studios on June 12, 2001. It is based in Frank Herbert’s science fiction Dune universe. It is the third real-time strategy game set in the Dune universe, following its predecessors, Dune II and Dune 2000. While Dune II was a totally distinct story to that of Dune, and Dune 2000 was a remake of Dune II, Emperor is a direct sequel to the previous games. In particular, it is a sequel to Dune 2000, carrying on from where it left off, with several of the characters and actors returning. Like Dune 2000 and many of the other Westwood games that came before it, Emperor features cut scenes filmed with live actors.

- Click on the download button below. It should redirect you to your download (a .rar file). Make sure you download the file properly and that your internet does not disconnect while downloading.
- Extract the “Emperor_Battle_for_Dune_Windows.zip” folder to your desktop. You will need a software such as WinRAR to do this.

- Open the folder called “Game Files” and in there, you want to open the folder called “ISO Files”. In there, you want to mount the file called “1. INSTALL DISK” to any empty virtual disc. To do this, you will need to download a software such as PowerISO or Daemon Tools (right click on the file and there you should see your options to mount the file).
- Once you have the file mounted, run the game setup. Install the game (you can leave everything at default). When asked for a serial code, use “036642-256734-246754-5204”.
- Once installed, open the “Patch” folder and then double click on the file called “EM109EN.exe” to install the patch.
- Once the patch is installed, open the folder called “Crack” and then copy the file inside of it called “Emperor.exe”. Go into the game’s installation directory (default directory is C:\Westwood\Emperor) and paste the file there. Confirm that you want to replace the files in the destination.
- To launch the game, all you want to do is double click on the file called “Emperor.exe” and your game show now launch!
- Enjoy the game!
- If you want to play one of the campaigns, if you go into the “ISO Files” folder, you will see a list of the game discs. You must mount the disc of the campaign you want to play before you can play that campaign (or just mount them all at once for smoother playing.)

Hi, there. This is how to install the game, you need to have a virtual disc software to mount ISO file. for me using “DAEMON Tools” then you can do by following the instruction above.

Don’t forget to copy the install fix emperor.exe and replace the westwood emperor.exe. You do this by right clicking and open archive with 7 zip and click copy to where you installed the game. Mount CD 2, 3 or 4. You can watch introduction videos by clicking on options in the main menu.
You can also mount disc 2, 3 and 4, but you have to open resource.cfg with notepad in your westwood folder, You need to change the last part that says CD2 etc, by changing the drive letter e.g. under CD2 change it to F: or whatever drive letter it is mounted on and under CD3, change it to the next drive letter you have mounted. Also change the drive letters with the movies section in the cfg file also e.g. F:Movies. Eject/unmount the install disc mount first. You can always eject/unmount if you’re not happy with the drive letter and mount again.
You should have the isos folder on your desktop so you can quickly mount each one when you need to. Drag a box around all 3 CD isos and right click mount. Enjoy!
Forgot to mention, download 7 zip and right click installfix and open archive. Then drag and replace copied files from CD to your game directory.
You still have to eject or unmount the disc you aren’t playing though and mount the disc you want to play.
Download install fix. Mount install disc, copy setup folder from it onto desktop and replace with the install fix setup folder. Run the new setup.exe. This will let you play without CDs.

Cant install on Windows 10. “Action not supported” error pops up
Can’t play any campaigns despite having the discs mounted. Can’t click ‘ok’ when it says to insert the relevant disc. What do I do?
I am having the same problem! It doesn’t seem like we are going to get an answer for this.
Unmount all other isos. Then mount the disc for the house you want to play as. Start from that disc.
