About Babyz

Players can teach their Babyz how to talk, how to play with objects, and how to walk. Babyz can form relationships with other babyz that can result in sibling rivalries or friendships. At release, there were 15 babyz the players could adopt and care for, as well as various toys that babyz could interact with. There are different rooms to explore and numerous clothing items. Babyz reused some of the Petz toyz and had a similar home setting for its play scenes.

    How to play on Windows

    1. Download and Extract Babyz_Win_ISO_EN.7z
    2. Open the "Game Files" folder
    3. Mount the file called "babyz.iso" (you can use WinCDEMU to do this, read here if you're not sure how: https://oldgamesdownload.com/wiki/howto/windows/) and run the game setup.
    4. Follow on-screen instructions and install the game.
    5. Play the game
    6. Note: if you get any crashes, try to turn off the game sounds and then run the game again. Also try to run the game in compatibility mode with older Windows versions.

      try running in the appropriate compatibility settings, as administrator, and download the patch from http://www.Sherlocksoftware.org. You may have to guess and check with the compatibility settings though, it may be different depending on which version of windows you have.

    i’m so sad, i can’t even get the game to install 🙁 the first prompt comes up and i click on install babyz then nothing else happens 🙁

    I really wanted to play this game – but as soon as I load it up it immediately crashes when selecting the baby’s name. Even downloading PetzA didn’t actually help or get the game to start.. such a shame 🙁

    The game makes me adopt a baby everytime I start it. I have line 10 of the same baby. I can send it to grandmas… but its getting to be a pain. Help?!

      Yes I was gonna ask about the same issue. I can’t find a folder for where the babyz are kept though, and I have no idea how to just start a new game. Not to mention I don’t know how to get different babyz.

    I just downloaded this and it keeps crashing after I name my baby! I downloaded PetzA too but idk if I have done it correctly or not as it still keeps crashing… any tips?

    When I load the game it prompts me to adopt another baby even though I already have one. Ended up with five of the same babies, tried fixing with PetzA which seemed to work. However now I have the issue of not being able to send the babies to their grandma’s house. I’ve checked and can’t find the actual folder for it either. Any fix for this?

      I’m having the same problem. I remember the files used to show up in “Adopted Babyz” but now that folder is empty, so I’m not sure where the babyz files are kept.

      Oh! Creating a folder called “Grandma’s House” did allow me to send the extra away. Still no way to actually get rid of them, though.

    I can mount the drive fine; but the setup.exe and the autorun.exe dont actually install the game? Any help please?

    This game to me is great and cute, it does work up until the part where you have to adopt your first baby, when it ask’s for what the name will be. then it freezes and even crashes. not really sure on how to fix it, I have tried many times in seeing what I can do to fix it. even changing it to run as administrator doesn’t work and changing the Compatibility. if anyone gets it working, please do say what you did.

      Google “PetzA” and install the program. It will work then. You might need to download the babyz executable.
      PetzA workaround also works for Petz/Catz/Dogz.

        OMG! i forgot all about that program, it has been so long, thank you soo much, the game works now and I love my little baby girl on it, will work on getting catz and dogz next. thank you again
