About Barney: On Location – All Around Town
The purple dinosaur Barney is joined by his friends BJ and Baby Bop as he takes children ages three and up on a tour of the fire station, bakery, and park in his hometown. Each locale features four activities and two sing-along songs, and a print shop offers a chance to create offline activities such as coloring pages, connect-the-dots puzzles, and hats. Screens contain hidden surprises and treasures. Immediately replaying a location raises the game's difficulty level, but exiting the game will result in the difficulty level being reset to "easy" except in Play Ball and Toast Catch.
Specific activities at the fire station include hide and seek, fire drill, fire truck puzzle, and firefighter dress up. While in the bakery, kids can play catch with toast, make mystery recipes, help Barney sort cupcakes, cookies, cake, and muffins, and decorate special treats. At the park, children can play catch with a baseball, help Baby Bop find different colored butterflies, match two-of-a-kind in Lily Pad Pair Up, and build a sandcastle. Songs include "Here Comes the Fire Truck," "When I'm a Firefighter," "If All the Raindrops," "Pat-a-Cake," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," and "The Green Grass Grew All Around."
