The bugs are back, in this follow-up to Pangea Software's popular action game Bugdom. Set a few years after Rollie McFly saved the comically insect-centric world of Bugdom, this sequel casts players in the role of a youngster named Skip, who has just had his backpack stolen by a mean, bully bee. Skip has to make his way through a number of 3D platform levels, each more challenging that the last, if he hopes to retrieve his pack from the bully. Luckily, as in the original game, Skip might be able to find some help in his task, if he can make some new friends along the way.

Soon after the game was released, Ideas from the Deep made available a free update for the Windows version Bugdom 2, designed to improve overall performance and add support for stereoscopic graphics. Players can wear a pair of common red/cyan "3D" glasses to experience an illusion of truly 3D characters and objects in the game.
