Destruction Derby Arenas is a 2004 racing game developed by Studio 33 and published by Gathering of Developers.
PlayStation 2 gamers find pick-up-and-play vehicular combat in Destruction Derby Arenas. The game features 20 different "American style" muscle cars, each with unique handling characteristics and its own distinct driver character. Smash-'em-up battles take place in 18 destructible arena locations. Tracks include interactive elements, such as a hydraulic lift or a moving train, which may pose additional challenges (or perhaps be used to the advantage of clever drivers). Six modes of online play are available to gamers with a broadband Internet connection and a PS2 Network Adaptor, supporting as many as 20 human-controlled competitors in the same arena. Gamers with compatible USB microphone headsets can speak to their online rivals in real-time. Destruction Derby Arenas' offline options include a split-screen mode for head-to-head, two-player contests.
Destruction Derby Arenas is abandonware and no longer sold or supported by its publishers. Files are archived here for these platforms:
